Gaherpur Prochesta Welfare Society

When we began our journey on 13th February 2013, we had very limited resources, but we had a strong belief that even a small initiative can create meaningful change when it is driven by sincerity, dedication and compassion.

Our journey started from a small rented house with just four colleagues and a dream to stand beside families who needed support. At that time, we could never have imagined how far this small initiative would grow.

For us, development has never been limited to financial assistance. True development means creating confidence, encouraging self-reliance, supporting livelihoods and standing beside people during difficult moments.

Over the years, we have expanded our work from savings and microcredit initiatives to social welfare activities, healthcare support, ambulance services, blood donation camps, health and eye-care camps, and initiatives for the care and dignity of senior citizens.

Every step of this journey has been made possible because of the trust and support of our members, colleagues, beneficiaries and well-wishers.

Today, as we look back at our journey, we feel proud of what has been achieved — but we also recognise that there is much more to do.

Our commitment remains unchanged: to serve people with honesty, empower families with opportunity and contribute towards building a better society.

I sincerely thank everyone who has been a part of this journey and invite you to continue walking with us as we move forward with greater responsibility, compassion and determination.

Together, let us create a future where every family can live with dignity, every individual can aspire to become self-reliant, and no one has to face difficult times alone.
